Anatomy of the Bobblehead

Research and Details
Your bobblehead can have any prop or device you desire. The details are limited only by your imagination and price points. Consider the following example of an eagle scout. The client wanted to make sure all the patches, medals and special awards were properly represented on the bobblehead. More than 200 items were thoroughly researched and developed for this piece.

Copy and Logos
We can add copy and logos to your bobblehead using a variety of methods. First is simply by sculpting directly into the original master, resulting in raised or embossed lettering. For 1000 units or fewer, this is the most cost-effective method.

Photo mechanic reproduction in which any color or design can be reproduced. Think of a NASCAR driver with all if the emblems accurately reproduced and logos can be reproduced and incorporated into the artwork.

Design and Characterization
"Way cool and totally fun!"

According to the kids this is a very exciting part of the challenge at hand. You can verbally present your vision of what you would like to see. Not to worry if your vision is a little muddy; lets work together!

For instance, working from the photos and your subject's personality we will do concept drawings of the character and blend it with the copy.

As an example, a client wanted a bobblehead of their chief financial officer. We asked about the pose, attire and copy for the subject in question. They replied, "Dark blue suit, red tie, black shoes and name tag."
"Ok, but how about the personality of the subject," we asked.
They replied, "Well he is a real penny pincher."
So we put the subject in pose where he has a piggy bank in a headlock. It took a number of board meetings with the client to get approval.
